Chishanu Marimba Ensemble - 9 piece acoustic marimba band

  • The Band plays traditional music from Zimbabwe. Although the arrangements are recent, many of the songs are ancient in origin and have been transposed for marimba from the dzavadzimu mbira, the instrument indigenous to the Shona people of Zimbabwe. The music is lively, rhythmic and great to dance to!

Les Femmes d'Enfer - cajun and zydeco two-steps and waltzes

  • Les Femmes d’Enfer plays fiery, infectious cajun and zydeco two-steps and waltzes from south Louisiana.  Claudette Boudreaux on Accordion is from Dulac, Louisiana.  Their vocals are in cajun french accompanied by Accordion, fiddle, guitar, bass, frottoir (rubboard) and ti-fer (triangle).


Nordleik - Norwegian/Swedish, Finnish, Karelian Folk Music

  • "Playfully Nordic", Norwegian/Swedish, Finnish, Karelian folk music trio, duo or solo Hardanger fiddler. Twin and triplet fiddles, guitar, harmonium (pump organ), two row & German accordion, Swedish and Norwegian vocals, and harmonica. The players Jane, Ken Embrey and Carla Wulfsberg in turn of the century Nordic costume provide elegant, genuine and lively programs for concerts and weddings: we'll arrange the old-time dance party entertainment; party music, or dances with or without cueing/teaching.


PfP - Blues, Folk and Alternative

South of Kingston Trio - Country Folk
