Rick Barrenger brings you the 4th Annual Hank Williams/Patsy Cline Tribute Festival with 13 local bands doing all your favorite songs recorded by either Hank Williams or Patsy Cline. Tuesday, July 29th at IMG Hall: "Wes Corbett and Jake Joliff". Duo performance with banjo and mandolin. It's always a special occasion when Wes comes to perform on Bainbridge. This will be a chance to hear some great mid-week music!
 
July 30 - August 3 BPA "Thoroughly Modern Millie". This Broadway hit tells the story of young Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city in search of a new life for herself. It's 1922 in New York, a time when women were entering the workforce and the rules of love and social behavior were changing forever. Based on the popular movie, the stage version of Thoroughly Modern Millie includes a full score of new songs and bright dance numbers. Filled with frisky flappers, dashing leading men and a dragon-lady of a villainess audiences will love to hate, Thoroughly Modern Millie is a perfectly constructed evening of madcap merriment. August 2 & 3, Bottom's Up Farms Art & Music Expo 13398 Manzanita Road NE, Bainbridge Island
 
The Bainbridge Island Art & Music Expo, now in it's second year, presents live musical performances and artist demos throughout the day. At night, the venue will give way to the Farmstock Concerts, to raise awareness of historic farmland on Bainbridge Island.  Headliners for the concerts include Dan Tyminski Band, Hadley Caliman Quartet, Pearl Django and many others. Musicians of all skill levels: The 8th Annual Bainbridge Island Summer Studio Tour is on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, August 8-10 from 10:00am - 6:00pm, see: www.bistudiotour.com.  As in previous years, musicians and music students are invited to share their talents and participate in this well-attended three-day art show and sale. The schedule for the music performances is divided into 1 hour blocks at each of 7 studios during all 3 days of the event, so there are a lot of hours to chose from.
